The Hector adopts a contemporary architecture structured by openness and light. Its C-shape creates a natural dialogue with the verdant inner courtyard, placing vegetation at the heart of the project. Generous fenestration maximizes natural light in both the units and common areas, while understated and sustainable materials reinforce the balance between modernity, comfort, and elegance.
Elegance is expressed here with simplicity. Each space is thoughtfully designed, striking a balanced harmony between contemporary design, lasting comfort, and accessibility. The approach favors clean lines, considered choices, and a quality that speaks with quiet confidence. The architecture flows seamlessly into everyday life, creating a modern living experience grounded in its environment.
Designed with a rigorous approach, Le Hector optimizes its energy performance thanks to an efficient building envelope and thoughtful design that promote comfort and durability.
The name Hector pays homage to Hector Hamel, a prominent figure in Pont-Viau and considered the area’s first mayor in the 1940s, before the mergers that led to the creation of the City of Laval. This nod to local history reflects the project’s desire to build upon the neighbourhood’s existing character while actively contributing to its renewal and evolution.
